General Information - Events

Menu Selections

You may offer your guests appetizers and entrée selections from our menu. You will need to have your final food decisions and guest count to us ten business days prior to your contracted date. We will have a final meeting with you at that time to review all the details for your event. You will be charged the guaranteed amount given to us, even if fewer guests attend. If we serve more than the guaranteed amount, you will be charged for each guest served beyond your guaranteed amount. The Grands Executive Chef needs to approve menu selection and quantities for all appetizer only events. Final payment is due at the end of your event, unless previously arranged. Should direct billing arrangements be made, full payment is due within ten business days after your event.

Tax and Service Charge

There are applicable sales tax on all sales, services and rental items. There is a 19% service charge on all food and beverages on your final bill. There are food and beverage minimums depending on the day of your event; prior to tax and service charge.

Food and Beverage

All food and beverage items must be purchased through the Grands at Mulligans. No food or beverage will be permitted to be brought into the facility by you or any guests. The Grands at Mulligans policy states absolutely no food may leave the premises after an event. Any request for leftover items prepared by the Grands at Mulligans will be denied. Potential liability lawsuits for food borne illness precludes us from allowing anyone to remove leftover food from the property. The Grands at Mulligans holds a liquor license granted by the City of Sartell and is held responsible for complying with its regulations. No alcoholic beverages may be brought into our facility. The Grands at Mulligans reserves the right to inspect and regulate all private meetings, group functions, banquets and receptions. The Grands at Mulligans reserves the right to not serve any person known to be under the legal drinking age, or is apparently intoxicated. Your guests must have valid identification to be served alcoholic beverages. We reserve the right to remove any person that is being disruptive from our property.

Music and Entertainment

We have an in-house sound system available to you for easy listening music. We allow you to have a live band or disc jockey for your events. They are allowed to set up after 9:00 am on your contracted event date. Your contracted entertainer needs to provide their own equipment (The Grands will provide a 6 foot skirted banquet table). We have ample outlets and sources for them to use. The last song needs to end at 12:00 am the night of your event. They need to have their equipment removed from our facility no later than 1:00 am. We do have a permanent dance floor available for you to use.

Decorations and Deliveries

We do allow you to bring in your own decorations to be used for your event. They do need to be pre-approved with our Management Staff. No balloons, confetti, glitter, crepe paper or decorative jellies may be used. Candles must be in a glass container. No individual is allowed to decorate 6’ or higher from the floor. Liability Insurance/Workers Compensation Insurance is required on file for all professional decorators. Our facility will be open at 9:00 am on your contracted event date for decorating. All decorations must be removed and picked up by 1am.

Deliveries may be made during our operating hours. Please provide us with a list of names and contact numbers of any vendors coming into our facility. All vendor deliveries must be pre-arranged with our Management Staff. Any vendor’s items must be picked up by 1:00 am the evening of the event.

Executive Chef Jeff Laumb

With over 30 years of experience working in country clubs, major hotels, and restaurants in Colorado and Minnesota, Chef Laumb is happy to be back in Central Minnesota where his career started. Three decades in the food industry has gained him experience in upscale and fine dining kitchens to unique casual dining restaurants, banquet facilities, and off-premise catering. While classic dishes are the foundation of Chef Laumb’s culinary skills, his unique style is on the cutting edge with flavorful ingredients and superior food presentation.
